LEADERSHIP TRAINING

The NIAAA Leadership Training Program is a voluntary educational program designed by athletic administrators for athletic administrators. Athletic administrators who complete the courses will have attained additional knowledge and perspective of the athletic administrator's role. Completion of leadership courses will enhance the daily operations of the athletic department, will improve the professionalism of the athletic administrator and will have a positive effect within the school and community.

LTC Courses are offered annually at the Annual Conference in Traverse City and often at our Summer Workshop.

These folks gave up two days to come to Mt. Pleasant to learn to be more effective leaders in their schools, their communities and how they can best serve the MIAAA and MHSAA and how to get involved to make a difference at the National level.

They have been through Leadership Training courses, had an opportunity to learn from Jack Roberts, Executive Director from MHSAA, gathered information and experiences from the current MIAAA Executive Board as to how they got involved and what are some of the programs they have led in their districts.  They also have been provided a one year membership to the MIAAA and NIAAA for their participation in this Academy.

Congratulations class !!!
